Pizzelles


1 stick of butter (NOT MARGARINE), melted
4 eggs
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup sugar
¾ cup flour

Mix all of the ingredients together.
Cook until crisp and brown in a pizzelle iron.
Cool completely then store in an airtight container.
Serve with confectioner’s sugar sprinkled on them.

You can substitute lemon or anise extract instead of vanilla extract.
